Jatiya Granthasuchi Bangla was first published in the year 1958. Since 1979 it was regularly published by the Central Reference Library, Kolkata.
Since January 2010, with the help of library software and Unicode, documents in all languages have been completely recorded in their respective languages and transliterated into Roman for the Indian National Bibliography. From those documents, language bibliography in respective languages is prepared. Fully computerized language bibliographies have been published till 2021.
