Under this programme Post graduate Library Science Students of different Indian Universities are imparted training in the compilation of bibliographies by manual process and by machine generation in different language scripts at CRL Kolkata, So far 7 batches of student from the universities of Calcutta, Jadavpur, Burdawan, Kalyani, Gauhati University, NEHU, Sillong, Bhagalpur University (Bihar). Utkal University, Sambalpur University(Orissa), Aligarh Muslim University, Madurai Kamraj university availed this facility. We are receiving constant enquires from different universities which we are not able to meet to in sufficient space and machines. The trainees are provided with stipend in an added attraction. This is also a continuing programme which involves practice in classification, cataloguing, compilation , editing , directory creation and data entry in language scripts. announcement for the next batches will be sent to Library Science Department of the Universities.
